Bolognese Recipe

My take on a classic bolognese, with added peppers and Smokey bacon, its a family favourite for a reason.

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Fry off the onions, carrots and peppers until soft then add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

Step 2

Then add the bacon and cook for a few minutes until it’s cooked through.

Step 3

Then add the beef mince and cook until browned.

Step 4

Add the tomato purée, stock cube, herbs and passata and cook on a low heat for at least 30 min (longer the better).

Step 5

Serve and Enjoy!
