First melt the butter in a saucepan.

Once melted, add in the flour and cook for a few minutes.

Next add in the milk, bit by bit, stirring consistently so no lumps form.

Once you have a thick sauce, add in the mustard and the garlic and herb cream cheese.

Then season to taste.
