Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes

Steak, spuds, garlic butter and melty cheese... all cooked in one pan in 15 minutes?! Honestly, this one is next level. It’s giving fakeaway vibes but without the faff, perfect for a busy weeknight when you still want something indulgent and delicious!

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan over high heat.

1 tbsp Oil

Step 2

Season the steak generously and fry for 2–3 mins on high heat until browned. Remove and set aside.

500 g Lean minute steak

Salt

Black pepper

Step 3

Add the sliced potatoes to the pan with paprika and garlic granules. Fry 4–5 mins until starting to turn golden.

800 g Tinned new potatoes

1 tsp Smoked paprika

1 tsp Garlic granules

Step 4

Add onion, peppers, butter and garlic. Cook 3–4 mins until soft.

2 tbsp Butter

3 tsp Garlic purée

Step 5

Return the steak to the pan and mix through.

Step 6

Top with the cheeses, cover with a lid or foil and let it melt for 1–2 mins until bubbling.

Garnish and serve.
